Boot Camp is a four week indoor fitness program that offers fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training - packed with fun and energizing movements designed to help you reach your fitness goals. Whether you want to lose weight to fit into that special dress, shed the extra pounds from a pregnancy or just get fit before that special occasion, this is the program for you
The type of exercises vary, but you can expect circuit training, strength training, cardio, jump-rope, cone drills, sprints, core, functional and sport movements.. Rest assured, you can work at your own pace
Boot Camp Common Questions
What do I need to bring to Boot Camp?
You will need to keep yourself hydrated during camp, so bring water.. Optional items are a towel to dry off with and gloves. Dress in fitness / athletic fashion
Will I be sore sometimes?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. It's part of the process that lets you improve!
What kinds of people go to Boot Camp?
They are people just like you. Someone who needs a little push to jump start their fitness and wellness program. Someone who wants to get in shape but doesn't know what to do. Someone who wants the assistance of a professional but doesn't want to join a gym. Someone who wants to see results but doesn't want to pay the rates for a personal trainer.
What is a typical day like at Boot Camp?
That's difficult to say since each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom. You can expect some light running, weight training, interval training, core training and jumping rope each week. On special days, we will take a field trip to a different location. It's always an adventure, and you'll always have fun! We teach you a great deal about proper form and "core stability."
How soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level. It's becoming common to see a camper go down 1-2 dresses sizes within the first Boot Camp. Remember, everyone is different!

I trained with Dan this past summer and fall as he got me ready to run the Chicago Half Marathon. And I did it! I ran the whole 13.1 miles in the most rain Chicago has seen in 137 years. So, when I heard about Dan's Boot camp, I thought to myself, "This can't be any tougher than his personal training sessions." Boy was I wrong. We ran and ran and did sit ups and jumped rope and ran some more. I will say it was probably the hardest thing I have ever done but it got me into the best shape I've ever been in my life. As much as I cursed at Dan and his crazy antics, I have to say that in the end it was worth it.

I can't wait for boot camp to start! I put on some weight over the holidays but every time I do boot camp I lose weight like crazy! It's hard but it is also fun, and Dan has a way of pushing you to work out as hard as you can, but he knows when to tell you to back it down. My first boot camp with Dan I lost 10 pounds, and I didn't change my eating at all. This is definitely great timing with bikini weather looming on the horizon!
